Escalade!

Geneva celebrates Escalade, an historic event that thwarted the Duke of Savoy from capturing Geneva.

To celebrate, they have running races through the city. One of the last races is called the 'Marmite' race where costumes are more important than the actual running.

Mummy and Daddy took us out to soak up some of the Genevois culture. Also, the whole city is decorated with pretty lights and although it is only 6pm, it is really dark!

There were quite a few costumes along the Christmas theme of course!
