Uncle Paul came for a short visit!!

We had Uncle Paul come over for a few days. It was nice to see him.

We showed him some sights of Geneva.

We went up the Château de Gruyères to see the little village and the castle.

It is famous for its cheese!!

So we had a cheese fondue of course!

Even Zanne (our babysitter) dyed her hair for the occassion!

If you love steam trains like my dad, then this is a treat for you.

We went for a family outing to ride on a steam train.

This one dates back to the 1920s and it is in good form.

Dad got to sit right up front to see all the action.

This is just like what it would have been like in the olden days.

Mum and Catherine chose to sit inside to watch the scenery.

But they did come out to take this picture and to see the men at work, shoveling coal into the oven.

What a gorgeous day for a wonderful ride. And the view with this bridge was amazing!!
